Hello.I have a question about myoelectric hand prosthesis project.Do the fingers move abduction or adduction during the grip?
Mohammad H.Hello.Thanks for your comment.Due to the angle of the fingers relative to each other, abduction and adduction of fingers are done passively during the grip.The reason that abduction and adduction are not done actively is that it requires more engine, which costs and weights more.
