Tavanmand Medicine and Industry Startup was established in Iran in early 2020 with the aim of combining industry and medicine. The members of the board of directors of this company are the faculty members of Sharif University of Technology and Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Due to the application of industry in medicine, the development of medical equipment and significant technical knowledge available in the industry, we decided to investigate the shortcomings of the industry in medicine to research and manufacture such products. Based on the high number of people with amputation and the lack of a suitable prosthesis in our country, we decided to make a myoelectric hand prosthesis in the first stage and a modular knee joint as a second project. We have already implemented more than half of the myoelectric hand prosthesis project and achieved good results. Next, we decide to produce consumables for laparoscopic devices.
